Welcome to nailtechj.com, the booking site for Nail Tech J ("we," "our"), an independent nail artistry studio operated by Jessica in San Diego, California. By using this website you agree to these terms.

Booking & appointments

• Submitting a booking request through this site is a request, not a confirmed appointment. Your appointment is confirmed only when Jessica personally confirms it (by email, text, or Instagram message).
• Appointment times shown on the calendar reflect current availability but may change before your request is confirmed.
• Please arrive on time. If you're running late, message @nail.tech.j — arriving more than 15 minutes late may require rescheduling.
• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours' notice so the time can be offered to another client.

Pricing & payment

• Prices listed on this site are starting prices and may vary with length, level of art, and add-ons. The final price is confirmed at or before your appointment.
• Payment is due at the time of service.

Your content

• Inspiration photos you upload must be images you have the right to share. They are used only to prepare for your appointment.
• By submitting a review, you allow us to display it (with your first name) on this website. We may decline or remove reviews that are abusive, spam, or off-topic.

General

• This site is provided "as is." We do our best to keep information accurate but don't guarantee the site will always be available or error-free.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nail Tech J is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of this website.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Privacy Policy

We keep this simple, because the site is simple: we collect only what's needed to book your appointment, and we never sell your information.

What we collect

• Booking requests: your name, phone number, email, service preferences, notes, and any inspiration photos you choose to upload.
• Reviews: the name and comment you submit.
• Anonymous visit counts: which page was viewed, the day, and device type (phone or computer) — with no cookies and no personal identifiers, so individual visitors can't be identified or followed.
• That's it. This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics. If your browser sends "Do Not Track," we don't even count the visit.

How it's used

• Booking details are sent privately to Jessica so she can confirm and prepare for your appointment, and to send you a confirmation email if you provided one.
• Approved reviews are displayed publicly on this site.
• We never sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers.

Where it lives

• Data is stored on our hosting provider's servers (Render) in the United States, over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
• Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which may log standard technical data (like your IP address) when your browser downloads them.

Your choices

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Accessibility Statement

Everyone deserves a great set of nails — and a website they can actually use. Nail Tech J is committed to making nailtechj.com accessible to the widest possible audience, and we aim to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we've built in

• Keyboard navigation: every interactive control — menus, the booking calendar, time slots, forms, and the photo gallery — can be reached and operated with a keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
• Screen reader support: semantic headings and landmarks, descriptive labels on all form fields and icon buttons, alt text on meaningful images, and live-region announcements for form feedback.
• Reduced motion: if your device is set to "reduce motion," animations — including the gallery carousel, auto-scrolling reviews, and decorative effects — are turned off or replaced with static equivalents.
• Readable text: the site supports browser zoom and text scaling, and we check color contrast against WCAG AA targets.
• Skip link: a "skip to main content" link for keyboard and screen-reader users.

Known limitations

• The 3D photo gallery is decorative-forward; every photo in it can also be opened with the keyboard, and the same photos are on our Instagram.
• Some decorative visuals (chrome art, print textures) are purely aesthetic and are hidden from assistive technology.

If any part of this site is hard for you to use, you can always book directly by messaging @nail.tech.j on Instagram or emailing nailtechh.j@gmail.com — you'll get the same appointments, no website required.
